One of three championship bouts at UFC 259 was the women’s featherweight title fight between Amanda Nunes and Megan Anderson. Nunes has been billed as the GOAT of women’s MMA, and she quickly displayed why as she easily dispatched Anderson early.

Amanda Nunes vs. Megan Anderson – Round 1
Feeling out process. Anderson then gets whacked with a right hand as I say that. Big right hand by Nunes and Anderson is rocked. Didn’t check the leg kick and Anderson goes for a takedown (????) and Nunes puts her on her back. She lands ground strikes and is angling for a submission. Triangle armbar and that’s a wrap. Nunes barely broke a sweat.
