Jon Jones may not have set even one toe in the Octagon as a UFC heavyweight to date, but the longtime light heavyweight king is already staking his claim as lord and master of his new division. Following a less-than-thrilling five round decision win by Ciryl Gane over Jairzinho Rozenstruik in the main event of UFC Vegas 20, the Jackson-Wink talent took to Twitter to do a little trolling.

Interestingly, at a rate of 4.3 strikes landed per-minute (according to official UFC stats), Jones’ striking pace is still lower than Gane’s—even following Saturday’s main event snoozer. Gane clocks in with 5.04 strikes per-minute, having been credited with 102 significant strikes landed over 5 rounds against Rozenstruik. That number is just about in line with Jones’ performances against Ovince St. Preux, Dominick Reyes, and Rashad Evans.

Upcoming heavyweight title challenger Francis Ngannou took the opportunity to join in on the roasting of Jones for his own less than thrilling battles.

And more than that, appears to have gotten a good chuckle out of ‘Bones’’s choice of words.

Even with his added bulk, Jones is likely going to have a hard time hoss-ing the likes of the ‘Predator’ around the Octagon. But, if Ngannou manages to get by Stipe Miocic on March 27th in the main event of UFC 260, it should be fun to watch him try.
