UFC Vegas 20 started with 13 fights and now has just 10.

A welterweight bout between newcomer Ramazan Kuramagomedov and Alex Oliveira was pulled from the lineup on Friday due to Kuramagomedov falling ill. He was a short notice replacement for Randy Brown, who tested positive for COVID-19, so it’s unknown whether or not this illness was related to weight cutting.

This is the third fight cancelled just within the past five days. A bantamweight bout between Raoni Barcelos and late replacement Marcelo Rojo was nixed after Barcelos tested positive for COVID-19, while light heavyweight matchup between William Knight and Alonzo Menifield was postponed to UFC 260 after Menifield’s positive test.

At this moment, UFC Vegas 20 has a preliminary card start time of 6PM/3PM ETPT, moved back one hour as a result of the cancellations. If all goes well then we should still see Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Ciryl Gane as the main event.
