UFC Vegas 18 results: Cory Sandhagen walkoff KOs Frankie Edgar with epic flying knee
Bloody Elbow 2.0 | Anton Tabuena

The UFC Vegas 18 co-main event got an explosive finish when the promotion’s #2 ranked bantamweight, Cory Sandhagen, brutally knocked out former lightweight champ, Frankie Edgar, with a perfectly-timed flying knee. Edgar went out on impact, and fell limp to the canvas as Sandhagen walked away in victory. WOW! JUST WOW! All of this took a mere 28-seconds to play out.

This is the second-straight epic finish that Sandhagen has produced, with the first being a wicked wheel-kick KO of Marlon Moraes. He’s already ranked #2 in the world, and after this sort of finish over someone like Frankie puts him at the front of the line for a title shot. The current bantamweight champion, Petr Yan, is currently scheduled to face Aljamain Sterling at UFC 259 taking place at the beginning of March. It sucks seeing this happen to Edgar, but that’s the nature of the sport we all love so much.
