A light heavyweight fight between Modestas Bukauskas and Michal Oleksiejczuk is being targeted for a UFC event in March.

MMA Fighting first reported the matchup, though the UFC is yet to confirm the fight. No location or venue has yet been announced for the event on March 27.

Bukauskas (11-3) signed to the UFC at the start of 2020 after a successful stint in Cage Warriors. “The Baltic Gladiator” won and defended the light heavyweight title in the promotion, and was successful in his UFC debut Andreas Michailidis last July. Bukauskas is coming off a first-round KO loss to Jimmy Crute.

Coincidentally, Oleksiejczuk (14-3) is also coming off a loss to Crute, suffering a first-round submission at the hands of “The Brute”. Oleksiejczuk hasn’t won a fight in almost two years, last stopping Gadzhimurad Antigulov in April 2019.

Currently, the only other fight announced for the March 27 card is a light heavyweight fight between Jimmy Crute and Johnny Walker.
