UFC 257 on Fight Island on January 23, 2021 will be the setting where former Bellator lightweight champion, Michael Chandler, makes his promotional debut against the UFC’s #6 ranked 155-pounder, Dan Hooker. Betting odds have surfaced for this collision of action fighters, and online gambling site SportsBetting.ag has the American opening up as a betting underdog to the New Zealand native.

A straight up wager on Hooker comes at a favored cost of -170. That means a $100 bet on Dan would potentially payout of $158.82. As for the UFC noob, Chandler is being offered up as a +145 underdog. So, a successful $100 gamble on “Iron” Mike stands to win you $145, plus your initial $100 back. Odds.com reports that +145 is currently the most valuable moneyline on Michael, but Hooker can be acquired at a slightly more lucrative line of -165 — which isn’t a ton in one instance, but shopping around can quickly add up over time.

SportsBetting.ag also has an over/under proposition available for this banger of a matchup, which has been set at 2.5 rounds. Both of these wagers hold minus lines, with the ‘Over 2.5’ prop being favored at -120, and the ‘Under 2.5’ bet on deck at -110.
