The Paul brothers of YouTube have come a long way from being mere internet stars to taking high-profile boxing matches. On February 20, the elder Logan will face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a “super exhibition” that will air on pay-per-view.
Despite a heavy underdog status against the consensus greatest boxer of all-time, people like former welterweight champion Victor Ortiz are pulling for Logan to win. His younger brother Jake, however, is going in the exact opposite direction.
“My brother’s f—ked,” Jake told TMZ Sports in a recent run-in. “(The fight is) bad for the sport, I think it’s just for clout. My brother’s the fake fighter, I’m the real fighter. He’s 0-1-1, I’m 3-0.
“But I wish him the best of luck. (But) don’t get in there with a guy who’s never even been knocked down. He was knocked down once, and it was by accident.”
“Real fighter” Jake is setting up a boxing match against the retired Ben Askren. The two will reportedly face each other on March 28.
