UFC Vegas 17 is going down tonight from the promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The top of the billing will take place in the welterweight division when the #5 ranked, Stephen Thompson, collides with the #11 rated, Geoff Neal. Bloody Elbow is here to hook it up with the betting odds for this matchup, as well as for the rest of this final event of 2020.

So, when the odds for this main event matchup first dropped, online betting site 5Dimes.eu had “Wonderboy” opening up as a -170 betting favorite, and “Hands of Steel” starting out as a +140 underdog. Well, since then not only has that line tightened up, but it has actually flipped entirely. Now, it’s Neal who is favored with an available moneyline of -112, with Thompson now residing in underdog territory at +102.

The straight up moneylines weren’t the only odds flip we saw for the UFC Vegas 17 main event. At first, the bookies believed that this matchup was going top reach the scorecards. The prop bet ‘Fight goes to decision’ opened up with a favored line of -175, with the ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ option offered up as a +135 dog. The betting public has different ideas on this one. Incoming bets on this fight finishing up early sent the ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ choice to a favored tick of -175, and the ‘Fight goes to decision’ wager to a plus line of +145.
