Flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo didn’t have a pleasant night after UFC 255 when his first round submission win over Alex Perez didn’t warrant a post-fight bonus. Less than a week later, the UFC made things right by awarding the “God of War” $50,000 in cold cash for his performance.

That little moment between White and Figueiredo went viral and became a topic of discussion during Saturday night’s UFC Vegas 15 post-fight presser. White also admitted that it was something they had overlooked.

“I don’t know how we f—ked that up. We were wrong,” White told the media. “You guys didn’t say anything to me, either.

“Sometimes, when you guys disagree, you’ll say, ‘don’t you think this guy won?’ But I don’t know how the hell we overlooked that. Mick (Maynard) couldn’t get to the afterparty fast enough, and I don’t know what was going on with me.

“But we f—ked up, and when I make mistakes, I make it right. So we did,” he added.

Figueiredo got a quick turnaround and will now fight Brandon Moreno for his second title defense at UFC 256 on December 12. It takes place at the APEX Facility in Las Vegas.
