UFC 255 results: Final fight stats for Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Alex Perez

Deiveson Figueiredo made his first defense of his UFC flyweight title on Saturday when he defeated Alex Perez by submission in the main event of the UFC 255 pay-per-view card.

Figueiredo, who won the title in July when he choked Joseph Benavidez unconscious at the 4:48 mark of Round 1, stopped Perez in under two minutes. Figueiredo won the bout via guillotine choke. The submission, which came at the 1:57 mark of the first stanza, was the fastest stoppage of Figueiredo’s UFC career.

Figueiredo now has stoppage wins in his four most recent bouts. Three of those victories came in the first round.

After the win, Figueiredo said he wanted to face Brandon Moreno in his next title defense. The UFC must have liked that matchup because it offered the fighters that scrap for UFC 256, which takes place in Las Vegas on December 12. Figueiredo and Moreno reportedly verbally agreed to the scrap.

Moreno defeated Brandon Royval on the UFC 255 prelims. Moreno scored a first-round TKO victory, stopping Royval with one second left in the first round of their fast-paced bout.

Below are the final fight stats for the main event of UFC 255, which took place at UFC Apex in Las Vegas and streamed on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
