UFC 255 Radio-Style PBP – FIGUEIREDO vs. PEREZ: Combat Culture YT Commentary
Bloody Elbow 2.0 | Anton Tabuena

Join us tonight for a ‘radio style’ play-by-play broadcast of the UFC 255 PPV (pay-per-view) MAIN CARD with LIVE updates, commentary, results & reactions, which will begin at 9:30-10PM ET, around the start of the much-anticipated Featured Prelim bout between Brandon Moreno and Brandon Royval. Throughout the telecast, our host, Matt Ryan, along with his co-host, Harry Terjanian, will be doing a radio-style play-by-play/commentary broadcast of every single important bit of violence. The show is a live YouTube stream, that will broadcast from New Jersey in the video player above. Please join us and be sure to subscribe to Combat Culture on YouTube.

Tonight, the UFC showcases a card featuring TWO Title Fights for both the men’s & women’s UFC Flyweight Championships. In that featured bout we have — FIGUEIREDO and PEREZ, as well as SHEVCHENKO & MAIA going at it in the main event of the UFC 255 PPV card, which is being broadcast from the #UFCAPEX Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tonight, recently crowned 32-year old UFC Flyweight Champion, Deiveson ‘Deus da Guerra’ Figueiredo, with a 19-1 record, will attempt his first title defense, versus 28-year old contender, Alex Perez with a 24-5 record. In the co-main event the promotion’s other UFC Flyweight Champion, Valentina Shevchenko — who has reigned supreme for nearly two years—will defend her title against former Invicta FC Champion, Jennifer Maia. Shevchenko will enter the octagon with a 19-3 record vs. Maia’s 18-6, so far to date.

Also on the card, we have an additional exciting women’s Flyweight bout taking place between Katlyn ‘Blonde Fighter’ Chookagian and the Brazilian up-and-comer Cynthia Calvillo. Chookagian is coming off a loss to Jessica Andrade last month, via Hook to the Body in Round 1, while Calivillo is entering the octagon off a unanimous decision win against Jessica Eye back in June of this year. As if that’s not enough, we also have the rematch no one actually asked for between Mauricio Rua and Paul Craig at Light Heavyweight. Perhaps one the most exciting bouts on this card is our featured prelim between Brandon Moreno and Brandon Royval; which will have been preceded by a fully packed undercard with two sets of prelims. What a wild night full of fights we have to share with you!

Here’s a look at the upcoming fight card:

12. UFC Flyweight Championship: 125lbs – Deiveson Figueiredo (19-1) vs. Alex Perez (24-5)
