If Mike Perry does end up fighting Tim Means at UFC 255, it’ll have to be at a catchweight.

The troubled welterweight came in at a whopping 175.5 lbs, which is nowhere near the non-title limit of 171 lbs. There’s no reason to believe he’ll cut 4.5 lbs, especially not when he tweeted about how difficult this particular cut was.

“Can’t believe I’ve even been here this long,” Perry said. Maybe I should just lay the gloves down. I don’t want it. I’m just in over my head with this weight. I was just 189 and now I’m 177 and I can’t sweat. I ran with a nice sauna suit , got in the portable sauna for 15 minutes, nothing.

“So easy for people to sit there and say shit but I swear I feel like anyone saying I’m weak for this doesn’t cut weight,” he continued. “It’s death to me. I’m dying already and have 6 more lbs to go. I know it doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s harder than the first 14.

Well he shed only 1.5 lbs more after those tweets from about seven hours ago. And to cap it all off, when he stepped onto the scale and the weight was announced, he responded by uh… dabbing.

Let’s flashback to 10 days ago and see what Perry was up to…. oh dear.

Perry vs. Means will apparently go on as scheduled, but Perry has to fork over 30% of his purse to Means.
