Khamzat Chimaev is just three fights into his UFC career but the undefeated welterweight and middleweight prospect is already booked for a five-round main event, per a recent post on social media.

Chimaev, who recently scored a 17-second, highlight reel knockout of Gerald Meerschaert at UFC Fight Night 178, revealed that he already has a date set for his next fight but didn’t specify an opponent.

“I have a date , now they looking for other side. Five round main event. Thank you @danawhite for keeping your word. Anybody. Anytime. Anywhere.”

The 26-year-old is expected to fight UFC veteran Demian Maia in his next bout and, despite the matchup not being confirmed, Chimaev has already opened as a significant betting favorite.

Chimaev has finished all nine of his professional fights via first or second round stoppage and UFC president Dana White believes the dual-division fighter is something special.

Expect an official announcement regarding Chimaev’s next matchup in the coming weeks.
