As he would in his media obligations in the last three years, Colby Covington managed to ruffle some feathers. During the UFC Vegas 11 pre-fight presser, he got into it with opponent Tyron Woodley about the Black Lives Matter movement.

At one point, Woodley responded to every question with “Black Lives Matter.” Covington responded by referring to the former champion as a racist and a “domestic terrorist sympathizer.”

But after he ended up with the fifth-round TKO win via an injury on Woodley, “Chaos” let it all out during the post-fight presser.

“The Black Lives Matter is a complete sham. It’s a joke,” Covington told reporters. “They’re taking these people that are complete terrorists. They’re taking these people that that are criminals. These aren’t people that are hardworking Americans, blue-collar Americans. These are bad people. They’re criminals.

“They shouldn’t be attacking police. If you’re breaking the law and you’re threatening the cops with weapons, you deserve to get what you get. Law enforcement protects us all. If we don’t have law enforcement, it’d be the wild wild west.”

For Covington, Woodley’s stance on the issue and his support for the movement makes him a “communist” who “hates America.”

“He’s a communist. He’s a Marxist. He stands for criminals. He hates America, and that’s why he got broke tonight.”

Following a congratulatory call from President Donald Trump himself, he also spewed racist insults in a heated conversation with current champion Kamaru Usman during a post-fight interview.
