This Saturday’s UFC event in Vegas was supposed to be Thiago Santos’ return to the Octagon. But, as seems to be the case with a lot of fights lately, COVID has nixed that – at least for now. The former headlining bout for this card pitting Santos against Glover Teixeira has been bumped back to later in the year.
In their place, the co-main event will now be a five-round headlining showcase. The bout will come in the women’s strawweight division, with Michelle Waterson taking on Angela Hill.
The rest of the bout order hasn’t been set as of yet. That would normally be an unusual thing, but in COVID times, it’s not all that surprising since the card is likely to change again before Saturday.
