Fighters are often measured by how much attention, and money, they bring into the sport of MMA. Those who do this very well are the fabled ‘needlemovers’. But not every fighter will sell a million pay-per-views like Conor McGregor or be interviewed by Ellen Degeneres like Ronda Rousey. Most fighters will never reach these levels of acclaim or popularity. They will instead never be known by people outside of the MMA bubble. They might also be forgotten by most inside of that bubble.

But none of this means that celebrity status fighters are the only ones with interesting stories. In fact, some of the most fascinating fighters — past and present — on the planet are people who most fans know very little about.

This stream is a collection of stories about those fighters who are tremendously obscure, but still have interesting stories to be told.
