It was close, but Alex Oliveira managed to snap his three-fight skid and avoid potentially being released from the UFC.

After a tough first round, the Brazilian ‘Cowboy’ opened up Max Griffin with a precise uppercut and left his opponent’s face a bloody mess for the rest of the fight. Despite the advantage, Alex still struggled to finish the fight, but ultimately scored a split decision at UFC 248.
