We are six weeks away from the UFC 249 main event between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson. The UFC has booked this about 140 times, but on this occasion it’s for Khabib’s lightweight title, and the opportunity for the undefeated Khabib to tie the record for most consecutive UFC lightweight title defenses (3). As for Ferguson, he’s not lost a fight since 2012 and has done everything but win a championship.
Before they square off in the cage (hopefully), we’ll get to hear and see them verbally go at each other at the pre-fight press conference in Las Vegas. You can watch the first Khabib vs. Ferguson press conference at the top of the page, starting at 6 PM ET/3 PM PT.
UFC 249 takes place on April 18th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. The co-main event is a strawweight rematch between former champions Jessica Andrade and Rose Namajunas.
