Frustrated with ranked opponents turning down fights, Ryan Hall has decided to call-out a pair of former champions in an attempt to get another fight booked.

Hall (8-1) earned himself a UFC contract after winning season 24 of The Ultimate Fighter five years ago, but has only fought four times since. Winning all those fights, Hall claims a “laundry list” of ranked opponents have been turning down fights with him, which has forced him to go down the route of calling out two former champs for his next bout.

“Never thought I’d have to go this route, but then again, I also never imagined a laundry list of ranked professional tough guys turning down a fight with a skinny, blinky kid from the suburbs,” Hall recently wrote in an Instagram post.

“Frankie Edgar and Jose Aldo are two people for whom courage won’t ever be an issue and it’s for that reason I have looked up to both since I first saw them compete years ago. Maybe one of them would be willing to step in to show everybody else how it’s done? Pick the time and place, boys. I’ll be there.”

The decorated grappler in Hall hasn’t fought since July of last year when he beat Darren Elkins by unanimous decision. “The Wizard” also submitted B.J. Penn in a lightweight bout by submission before his most recent win.
