Darren Till might have had one too many on Christmas day, as the former UFC welterweight title challenger turned top-five middleweight contender sent Israel Adesanya a private message demanding ‘The Last Stylebender’ relinquish his middleweight title, or else!
Adesanya, who KO’d Robert Whittaker to win the middleweight title at UFC 243, found Till’s demands hilarious.
“Merry Xmas Brother X,” Till sent to Adesanya. “Just give me the belt now and we will be ok…”
The last time Till got drunk the Liverpudlian challenged Yoel ‘Solder of God’ Romero to a fight but retracted his comments the following day.
Till, 27, rebounded from back-to-back stoppage losses to Tyron Woodley and Jorge Masvidal with a split decision win over Kelvin Gastelum in his middleweight debut at UFC 244. The Team Kaobon fighter was recently seen training heavyweight boxer Tyron Fury in Liverpool, as ‘The Gypsy King’ has hinted at a move to MMA after his rematch with Deontay Wilder next year.
Till is currently ranked #5 in the UFC middleweight rankings.
