In late November, undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced he was coming out of retirement for the fourth time. While nothing has been made official yet, what was revealed was that he will be working with UFC president Dana White in a “spectacular event” in 2020.

Last week, White did confirm he was working with Floyd Jr. for an event later in the year. And while the two had their differences in the past, White says they now see the benefit in working with one another.

“We both think that we add value to what each other does and we could do something together,” White told members of the media at the UFC 245 post-fight scrum. “Both of us together is more powerful than both of us not together. I’ll probably start talking to (Al) Haymon this summer.”

“I’m not just a UFC guy anymore, man,” he added.

Mayweather is reportedly looking at a rematch against Manny Pacquiao for his return, as well as a bout against a UFC fighter.
