We’re in the home stretch for 2019. The UFC is returning to Washington DC on December 7th for an ESPN card that is headlined by heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Jairzinho Rozenstruik. This is a short notice fight for Rozenstruik, who’s filling in for Walt Harris after the disappearance and ultimately tragic murder of his stepdaughter, Aniah Blanchard.
In the co-main event, strawweight prospects Marina Rodriguez and Cynthia Calvillo go head-to-head with an eye on bigger fights to come in 2020. Also on the main card is Stefan Struve against Ben Rothwell, Aspen Ladd staying at bantamweight vs. Yana Kunitskaya, bantamweight prospect Song Yadong versus Cody Stamann, and Ricky Simon against Rob Font in another bantamweight tilt.
