Last year, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone unloaded some of his complaints against the renowned Jackson-Winkeljohn Academy, which ultimately led to his departure from the team. On Monday, one of its now former coaches went online to do the same.
In a lengthy Instagram post, ex-striking coach Frank Lester first accused current UFC light heavyweight Jon Jones of not paying him more than $13,000 for his last fight against Thiago Santos at UFC 239.
And while he didn’t elaborate, he also blasted fellow striking coach Mike Winkeljohn for being a “crook.”

The issue between Lester and Winkeljohn have been a long-standing one. In late November, Winkeljohn first addressed it, claiming he gave Lester a “second chance after he didn’t want to fight anymore.”
