UFC 242 isn’t as deep as 241, but it’s another rock-solid PPV offering from the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Much of the strength of the card lies in the lightweight title unification bout between champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and interim champ Dustin Poirier. Hopefully, once this fight is in the books, a few more contenders will get their chance at gold without the re-matching and delays that have been the division’s hallmark for years now. Speaking of re-matches, the co-main features round 4 of a lightweight top contenders bout between Edson Barboza and Paul Felder. Throw an elite grappling match between Islam Makhachev and Davi Ramos, and an action fight between Mairbek Taisumov and Diego Ferreira, and this should be a good time.
