UFC Stockholm live stream: ‘Gustafsson vs Smith’ results, reactions, and main card fight updates

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns tonight, Saturday, June 1st, 2019, with some decent bouts worth catching. The top two fights happening at UFC on ESPN+ 11 are scheduled to take place in the light heavyweight division. The main event features former title challengers, Alexander ‘The Mauler’ Gustafsson and Anthony ‘Lionheart’ Smith, and the co-main event is now set to be Jimi Manuwa vs Aleksandar Rakic after Ilir Latifi was pulled from his scheduled bout against Volkan Oezdemir. Perhaps the best part of this main card offering is that the card takes place midday in the United States, although the event is being held at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden.

For the memorable past and foreseeable future the UFC has been pushing an event at its fan base almost once a week. With that comes a lot of dedication from hardcore fight fans if they intend to take in every possible second of violence from the world’s premiere mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion. We are here to give you all the results as they happen so you don’t miss any of the face-punching action that is bound to occur.

Brian and I have decided to use our Saturday afternoons as an opportunity to possibly see an abundance of highly entertaining fights, but also to provide you with a radio-style play-by-play broadcast of each eye-poke, groin strike, highlight-reel knockout, etc. that is being presented behind the ESPN+ monetary blockade. I will moderate the live chat and ban those pesky spammers and link beggars, as well as offer support to Brian throughout the show with factoids and bonuses, while updating the results at length in the description of the show as the main event unfolds. Brian might be less easy on the eyes than Gustafsson’s cauliflower ear, but during the entire main card of this event he will be doing his best to keep fight fans up to date on the moment-to-moment action inside of the eight-sided cage.

We’ve done this style of show in the past exclusively for pay-per-view (PPV) events and are trying it out for UFC Fight Nights as well. If you like the product please consider subscribing to the channel and giving the video a thumbs up.

Here’s what’s in store tonight with LIVE UPDATED RESULTS RIGHT HERE for the five main event bouts throughout the UFC on ESPN+ 11 event, straight out of Stockholm, Sweden:
