Bloody Elbow 2.0 | Anton Tabuena

Wander “The Crusher” Braga, is a fifth degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He was promoted to black belt by Rickson Gracie’s black belt, Jorge Pereira. Wander has trained extensively with Rickson Gracie himself and is the master of UFC fighter Gabriel “Napão” Gonzaga.

Currently, Wander has a 16-1 record in MMA and decided it was time to return to Brazil to share all his experience and knowledge for the development of MMA and BJJ in Brazil.

In this short video. shot exclusively for the readers of Bloody Elbow, professor Braga, stresses the importance of establishing a continuous connection with opponents and maintaining constant control of their hips and posture when landing strikes from top position. Top half guard is a great “base of operations” for landing strikes as many opponents will stay there in order to avoid their guard getting passed.
