UFC London ended in spectacular fashion for Jorge Masvidal. The number eleven-ranked welterweight fighter scored a highlight reel knockout victory over third-seeded Darren Till, making a strong case for himself as a next title contender.
“Gamebred” was doing a post-fight interview backstage, when he was interrupted by someone from the crowd. The other voice was heard shouting out the words “shut up”, which did not sit well with Masvidal.
He quickly went on to approach the person in question, who turned out to be fellow welterweight Leon Edwards. Without hesitation, Masvidal swung punches, inciting a brief scuffle. Officials in the scene immediately stepped in to cool off the tension.

Edwards also scored a victory that night, facing Gunnar Nelson at the co-main event right before Masvidal and Till. He won via split decision.
Just this week, Masvidal spoke about his dislike for smack talking, stating there might be worse repercussions in the future.
