Boy did the UFC London main event just deliver! Returning to competition after being away since November of 2017, the UFC’s #11 ranked welterweight Jorge Masvidal pulled off a spectacular second-round knockout of former title challenger and hometown fighter Darren Till.
Masvidal started the bout with an accidental cup kick. The fight resumed and Till instantly dropped his foe with a straight left hand. Till tried to follow his opponent to the ground but Masvidal scrambled back to his feet. Till found top position again, but it didn’t last.
In the second round, an accidental eye poke paused the action before it really got going. Upon the restart, Masvidal blasted a brief takedown and began to get a little more wild. Just as the action started to heat up, Masvidal threw a fantastic finishing combo that put Till out cold.
