It’s been almost two years since Anthony Johnson decided to retire and, as of right now, ‘Rumble’ isn’t thinking too much about a possible comeback.

With that said, the former light heavyweight title challenger would consider coming out of retirement if the UFC made the right offer.

Speaking to MMA Fighting’s Luke Thomas in a recent interview, Johnson said that, if he did come back, the 34-year-old would like to stay ‘fat’ and compete at heavyweight.

“If the price is right, anything can happen,” Johnson said when asked about the possibility of a comeback. “He [Dana White] knows that when the time is right, we’ll talk about it. But right now, the time just isn’t right. There’s no point.”

“If I’m gonna do it I wanna do it at heavyweight,” Johnson continued. “Everybody can eat, be fat, and happy and go out there and slug it out and see what happens.”

Johnson, who recently signed a business deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, hasn’t fought since his submission loss to Daniel Cormier at UFC 210. The bout marked Johnson’s second failed attempt to capture UFC gold, as the former NJCAA wrestler was previously submitted by ‘DC’ in a title bout back in 2015.

Johnson was considered one of the most intimidating and heaviest hitting fighters on the UFC roster, earning a plethora of KO’s since his return to the promotion in 2014.
