The main event will see the returning Jon Jones taking on Alexander Gustafsson for a second time. This will be for the vacant UFC light heavyweight title. The co-main is a superfight between Cris Cyborg and Amanda Nunes for the women’s 145-pound title.
The show kicks off on Fight Pass at approximately 6pm ET with four fights. The card then moves to FS1 at 8pm ET for four more bouts, then onto the main PPV card at 10pm ET. The full lineup and schedule follows. The main event will be covered in a separate post.

Round 1 – Cyborg with two big shots early. Hard leg kick from Cyborg Nunes pressing forward and she hurts Cyborg! She went down to one knee and got back up! Nunes is all over her! Cyborg is basically out against the fence! One more right and CYBORG GETS ICED! AMANDA NUNES IS THE CHAMP CHAMP!

Carlos Condit vs. Michael Chiesa
Round 1 – Condit with a combination and a head kick. Chiesa looks to clinch. Trip takedown from Chiesa. Chiesa with one of his patented back takes but Condit spun out and gets back to his feet. Chiesa keeps on him though. Another takedown. Chiesa with a few punches. Condit with an armbar attempt! He secures it but Chiesa escaped! Condit’s back to his feet. Chiesa is back on him immediately against the cage and drags him back down. Condit attacks a leg. Chiesa rolls through. They trade punches in 50/50. Condit steps over and takes Chiesa’s back. Fun grappling there. 10-9 Chiesa.
Round 2 – Chiesa with a right. Another over the top. Leg kick from Condit. Condit stuffs a takedown attempt, but throws a kick that gets caught. Condit ends up on his back against the cage. Chiesa looks for a kimura. He’s got it, and Condit tapped out. Condit is hurt.

Ilir Latifi vs. Corey Anderson
Round 1 – Anderson leans in but can’t land. Chopping leg kick from Latifi nearly knocks Anderson down. Another one. Anderson with a slapping kick. Jump knee misses from Anderson. Latifi scoop a single but he can’t get Anderson to the ground. Latifi with a counter right that stuns Anderson. Anderson with a body kick. He looks for a takedown. Latifi rebuffs him and cracks him with a left. Back to the leg kick for The Sledgehammer. He lands a left hook. They both land lefts. Anderson eats another low kick. He scores with a right though. He jumps into the clinch. They trade shots before the horn. 10-9 Latifi.
Round 2 – Anderson with a hard body kick. Short left too. Low kick from Latifi. They trade shots inside. Latifi looks for a takedown. He persists but can’t get it. Anderson with a knee to the body. Anderson with his own takedown attempt but Latifi fights him off. Hard body shot from Anderson. Short uppercut too. Step-in knee from Anderson. Latifi with a right. Latifi is slowing down. Latifi presses with three big shots though. Now he begs off. Anderson with some body work. Anderson complains that Latifi is grabbing his shorts in the clinch. Latifi with a left on the break. 10-9 Anderson.
Round 3 – Anderson with a head kick but it’s blocked. Low kick from Latifi. Latifi with a big combo out of a clinch break. Front kick to the thigh and a jab from Anderson. Anderson jabs the body. He lands a left. Jump knee and a right from Anderson. Latifi stuffs a takedown attempt. They’re both tired. Latifi with a spinning kick that connects. Low kick from Latifi. Anderson with a nice riht. Latii presses but misses. Anderson with a shot at the horn. 10-9 and 29-28 Anderson.

Chad Mendes vs. Alexander Volkanovski
Round 1 – Lots of posturing early. Body kick from Mendes. Volkanovski fires back. Volkanovski wades in but can’t connect. Mendes with a combo. Mendes goes body/head. Mendes can’t get a takedown. Inside leg kick from Volkanovski. Volkanovski sat down on a right hook. Many, many feints. Volkanovski with a jab to the head and body. Mendes with a beautiful takedown but Volkanovski is right back up. Mendes with a right hook. Volkanovski with a combo. Body kick. 10-9 Mendes.
Round 2 – Inside leg kick from Volkanovski. Mendes misses with a flying knee. They trade rights. A right from Mendes hurts Volkanovski! A combo drops him! He’s back up and Volkanovski lands a huge left! Things got busy fast. Body kick and a right from Volkanovski. Big combo from Volkanovski. Knee! Mendes takes him down. Volkanovski right back up again though. His nose has a cut on it. Mendes has blood coming out of his nose. Volkanovski with a left jab. He’s flurrying! Mendes is taking it and he gets another takedown. He immediately takes the back with both hooks. 90 seconds to go. Volkanovski escapes! Body kick and rights hurt Mendes! Huge elbow. knee. Mendes fires back. Great round. Body shot and Mendes goes down! He lands a few punches and it’s over! Alex Volkanovski is now a featherweight contender!
