In a shocking result, Tony Harrison (28-2, 21 KOs) won a unanimous decision over Jermell Charlo (31-1, 15 KOs) to become the new WBC champion at 154 lbs. The crowd at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY booed the result, as the overwhelming opinion was that Charlo did more than enough to win the fight. It was by no means a Charlo wipeout, but you’d have to reach really far to justify a Harrison win.
Here are the scores from each judge that gave Harrison the upset victory in the PBC on FOX co-main event.

Judge Robin Taylor had it 116-112 Harrison, which is completely indefensible. Both Taylor and Ron McNair gave round 11 to Harrison, when it looked like a clear Charlo round. Julie Lederman had Harrison up 7-3 after 10 rounds, and all three judges had Harrison up to the point where Charlo evidently needed a KO in the last round go get the victory.
The aftermath was as testy as you might expect, and an immediate rematch may very well be in the works with such bizarre scoring.

This certainly has turned the 154 lbs division upside down to end 2018.
