UFC 231 kicks off this weekend from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with two titles on the line. The top of the billing possess pick’em odds. Defending featherweight king Max Holloway can only be found with a favored line around -120, with the challenger Brian Ortega straddling both sides of the line from -106 up to +105.
The odds makers do not see the UFC 231 co-main event being as close of a matchup as the main event. Valentina Shevchenko is heavily favored to capture the vacant flyweight strap with a moneyline of about -360. The UFC’s former strawweight champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, will be sporting the largest underdog line of her career as she hits around the +300 mark.
The UFC 231 marquee matchup isn’t the only super-tight betting line on the card. Gilbert Burns finds himself anywhere from -109 to +105, with opposition Olivier Aubin-Mercier sitting on the minus side at about -120. Eryk Anders can be picked up at both plus and minus line, ranging from -110 and up to +108. His opponent, Elias Theodorou, can only be found with a favored line around -125. Theodorou wasn’t always the betting favorite, though. Anders actually opened up with a favored line of -165 before the coin steady trickled in for Theodorou, flipping the line.
The honor of heaviest betting favorite on the entire card belongs to 10-1 light heavyweight prospect Aleksandar Rakic, who clocks in at a whopping -600. His opponent, Devin Clark, is the largest underdog available at UFC 231, touching around the +450 mark.
The UFC 231 main card will air live on Pay-Per-View at 10:00 P.M. ET with the prelims starting at 8:00 P.M. ET on FS1. The exclusive Fight Pass prelims will begin at 6:15 P.M. ET.
