The earliest Brock Lesnar can actually return to the UFC is next January, but the WWE superstar could make another surprise appearance inside the Octagon on Nov. 3, when Daniel Cormier will defend his heavyweight title against Derrick Lewis at Madison Square Garden in New York.
That’s according to UFC president Dana White, who told ESPN’s Brett Okamoto that Lesnar ‘might be in New York’ for the upcoming UFC 230 pay-per-view.
“Brock Lesnar might be in New York,” White said, per MMA Mania’s Jesse Holland. “That’s not guaranteed, we haven’t talked about it or anything, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he called and said, ‘I’m coming to the fight.’ I plan on Brock Lesnar fighting soon.”
Lesnar, who hasn’t officially won a fight in over eight years, stormed the cage after Cormier’s first-round knockout of Stipe Miocic at UFC 226 and put the entire heavyweight roster on blast, calling ‘DC’ a ‘motherf—ker’ and Miocic a ‘piece of shit.’

Could we expect a repeat performance from Lesnar in New York?
After the chaotic post-fight brawl between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor at UFC 229, probably not. Ultimate Fighting Championship will be taking extreme measures to ensure nothing like that ever happens again, so expect Lesnar to be on his best behaviour. The 41-year-old is expected to challenge the winner of Cormier vs. Lewis for the heavyweight title.
UFC 230 takes place on November 3 at Madison Square Garden.
