UFC 229 is in the books and we… uh… totally recorded this show right after watching the event, and not at all last week. Definitely. Either way, it seems as good a time as any for a Conor McGregor & Khabib Nurmagomedov themed Depressed-us. So we’re watching the worst fights we can find for both men. Being that they’re both incredibly good, dominating fighters that’s actually something of a challenge. None of their fights are really, actually bad.

But we’re watching Khabib’s sophomore UFC effort against Gleison Tibau (a fight many thought he arguably lost), and Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor. Yes, not technically an MMA fight, and yes an unexpectedly decent performance from the ‘Irishman,’ but also a cartoonish spectacle that resulted in a harsh beating by the end of it.
