Bellator 206 kicks off this Saturday, from the SAP Center in San Jose, California. Bloody Elbow is here to bring you the betting odds. The top of the billing will see a champion vs. champion matchup, as Gegard Mousasi (-290) is quite favored to successfully defend his middleweight belt against Bellator’s welterweight king Rory MacDonald (+225). In the co-main event, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (-290) is strongly favored over Wanderlei Silva (+245) in the fourth act of their saga.
The opening matchup of Bellator’s welterweight Grand Prix will pit former champ vs. former champ, and Andrey Koreshkov (-140) is slightly favored to best Douglas Lima (+120) in their trilogy fight. With just a record of just 3-1, Aaron Pico (-470) is substantially favored over former Bellator title challenger Leandro Higo (+375). Despite being so heavily favored, this is actually the tightest betting line of Pico’s young career. Oddly enough, Higo was actually much less of a betting underdog in his bantamweight title fight with Darrion Caldwell, closing with a line around +294.
The Bellator 206 main card will open up with back to back chalk favorites, as Gaston Bolanos (-700) is widely favored over Ysidro Gutierrez (+500), and Keri Melendez (-1200) is astronomically favored over Dakota Zimmerman (+775).
