It definitely looks like Brock Lesnar intends to return to the UFC. He has entered the USADA testing pool to work off the rest of his suspension, he is reportedly training hard for a fight, and he set up a bout with Daniel Cormier back at UFC 226. But according to Dave Meltzer over at MMA Fighting, Brock still hasn’t signed a UFC contract.

So why not go back to pro wrestling for a short time and make some serious cash?

Lesnar surprised many with his WWE return last night at their Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, interfering in the main event and setting himself up for a shot at the WWE Universal title once again. But there’s more to it than that.

The WWE recently signed a 10-year deal with the Saudi Arabian government to bring pro wrestling to their country for periodic shows. While the value of the contract hasn’t been made public, Meltzer believes it’s for about 45 million dollars per show. Yes, they get that much for each event they stage there. That’s more than they generate from their biggest event of the year, WrestleMania.

So this means that the company has a huge amount of money available to bring in the biggest stars possible for each event there. Enter Lesnar.

So how much would Brock be getting for his match at WWE Crown Jewel event on November 2nd? Well, a whole lot:

“In Lesnar’s case, it is believed to be well into the seven figures for the matches in Saudi Arabia.”

Lesnar will take part in a triple threat match there against Braun Strowman and current champ Roman Reigns at the show. It had been believed that he would take on Cormier for the UFC heavyweight title in January – however that remains to be seen.
