Matt Serra is being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame today. But last night, he had to bust out some old grappling moves to subdue what he called “an a—hole drunk” at a restaurant in Las Vegas. He posted a video of the scene on his Instagram, and it’s pretty funny:
“How do you spend the night before your @ufc HOF induction?!? You subdue some asshole drunk that was threatening waiters then tries to swing on you. #jiujitsu”
The video shows him in mount on the drunk, controlling his arms and repeatedly telling him to calm down. The guy is swearing at him, and Serra laughs. When security shows up, Serra asks if they’re ready to control the guy while he blabbers about pressing charges against the former UFC welterweight champion.
He posted another video before this, which seems to catch the same man he grappled with trying to wake up a female in the booth behind them:
Just another day in Vegas. Serra will be inducted into the HOF tonight along with Ronda Rousey, Bruce Connal, and Art Davie.
