Join us today (Saturday, June 23rd) on Bloody Elbow for live results, discussion, round scoring and play-by-play as UFC Fight Night: Cowboy vs. Edwards takes place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.

The main event sees #11 welterweight Donald Cerrone square off against #13 ranked Leon Edwards in a five-round battle. In the co-main event, light heavyweights collide as #7 Ovince Saint Preux faces #13 Tyson Pedro.

Live results and play-by-play will commence with nine preliminary card bouts, starting at 4:30 AM ET/1:30 AM PT. The four-fight main card airs at 8 AM ET/5 AM PT, with all thirteen contests streaming on UFC Fight Pass. The full lineup and schedule is as follows.

Main Card

Donald Cerrone vs. Leon Edwards

Round 1 – Cerrone eats a hard kick as he changes levels for a takedown. Edwards gets the clinch and pushes Cerrone towards the fence with head control. Edwards lands a hard left elbow as he exits the clinch. Cerrone is cut above his right eye, and shoots in for a takedown and clinch. Edwards defends well and lands a knee off the clinch. Cerrone throws a high kick but misses. Edwards lands another left high kick and gets more comfortable fighting at kicking range. Round ends with Cerrone landing a left head kick. 10-9 Edwards.

Round 2 – Both men exchange kicks as the second round opens. Edwards feints and lands with a hard body kick. Edwards gets the clinch and lands clean punches. Cerrone gets the clinch and pushes Edwards towards the fence. Edwards reverses position and lands an elbow. Cerrone is bleeding more from the right eye. Edwards lands another hard body kick. 10-9 Edwards.

Round 3 – Edwards lands another elbow, followed by a left hand that wobbled Cerrone a bit. Cerrone attempts another takedown, but Edwards easily stuffs it. Cerrone lands a lead uppercut which backs up Edwards. Cerrone pushes the action towards the fence, but Edwards gets out with ease. Cerrone mixes up his punches, throwing body to head combinations. Round ends with Edwards landing an inside leg kick. 10-9 Edwards.

Round 4 – Cerrone leads with a straight right to the body. Edwards kicks Cerrone’s leg, who then falls to the ground. Edwards continues to land hard shots, but Cerrone keeps distance with side kicks. Cerrone changes levels for another takedown, but is stuffed. Cerrone pushes Edwards towards the fence, but the latter moves out. Edwards lands hard body kicks. Cerrone brings the fight to the mat, but Edwards wall walks and gets back up. Edwards lands another left elbow off the clinch. Cerrone lands an outside low kick to Edwards’ lead leg. Round ends with Cerrone landing a right high kick. 10-9 Cerrone.

Round 5 – Edwards lands a low teep kick. Cerrone lands a side kick as Edwards was backing up towards the fence. Edwards showing lesser activity compared to earlier rounds. Cerrone throws a three-punch flurry as Edwards backs up towards the fence once again. Edwards throws a left high kick that lands, then backs away immediately. Cerrone gets the clinch, pushes Edwards to the fence, scores a trip and finishes the takedown. Edwards gets back up and throws an elbow as he exits the clinch. Cerrone lands a two-punch combination as the final 30 seconds approaches. Round ends with both men throwing caution to the wind. 10-9 Cerrone.

Leon Edwards defeats Donald Cerrone via unanimous decision (48-47 on all cards)

Ovince Saint Preux vs. Tyson Pedro

Round 1 – Saint Preux opens the round with a body kick. Pedro lands a question mark kick in response. Pedro lands a head kick followed by a straight right that dropped Saint Preux. Pedro quickly gets a headlock and attempts a guillotine choke, which Saint Preux defends. Both men continue to scramble against the fence, with Saint Preux turning the tables and attempting a guillotine while being pushed. Pedro scores another takedown, but OSP gets back up. Saint Preux scrambles, manages to get top position, and pounds away. Saint Preux secures the arm and isolates it, locking the straight armbar. Pedro taps.

Jessica Eye vs. Jessica-Rose Clark

Round 1 – Both women engage in a boxing match, but Eye is slightly getting the better of her opponent. Eye mixes up her strikes, throwing high left kicks. Clark more comfortable with her boxing, landing combinations of her own. Clark playing off the counter more as Eye remains calm. Round ends with both women trading punches. 10-9 Eye.

Round 2 – Clark beginning to find her rhythm bit by bit as the round opens. Clark slips and Eye takes advantage by getting to front headlock position. Clark gets up, but Eye pushes her towards the fence. Clark gets out of clinch as the action goes back to the center. Clark begins to mix up her strikes by throwing body kicks. Eye finds her range and lands a punch-kick combination. Clark lands two overhand punches from both sides, and continues to be more active compared to the previous round. Round ends with Clark landing strikes while pushing Eye towards the fence. 10-9 Clark.

Round 3 – Eye opens up the round with a high kick, and begins to land crisp combinations. Clark engages in a boxing match, but Eye lands a clean right hand counter. Eye looking a lot more loose with her combinations, but Clark is having success at fighting off the counter. Eye scores a takedown off a leg trip and fights off half guard top. Eye gets to side control after a few attempts of a keylock submission. Round ends with Eye attacking from top. 10-9 Eye.

Jessica Eye defeats Jessica-Rose Clark via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

Li Jingliang vs. Daichi Abe

Round 1 – Abe opens up with an inside leg kick, as he targets Li’s lead leg. Li is finding his range and lands his combinations. Li lands hard leg kicks of his own, and continues to do so a few more times. Li lands a hard right hand as Abe backs up. Abe lands a hard uppercut as Li rushes in. 10-9 Li

Round 2 – Abe attacks Li’s lead leg with a teep kick to start the second round. Li continues land lead leg kicks of his own as well. Li is landing both inside and outside leg kicks that slows down Abe’s movement. Li lands a hard two-punch combination that forces Abe to the fence. Abe’s lead leg is visibly hurt from the leg kicks, as he switches stances from time to time. Li continues to set up his punches with leg kicks. Li lands a hard overhand right and mixes it up with two-punch combos. Li mixes in head kicks as they enter the final minute of the round. 10-9 Li

Round 3 – Abe begins round three in southpaw stance, with his orthodox lead leg still hurt from the kicks. Li continues to punish Abe’s left leg via low kicks and has found a home for his overhand rights. Abe is fighting from a safer distance to avoid more leg kicks. Li, nonetheless, continues to punish Abe with low kicks on both legs. Li lands one last clean straight left and a body kick to end the fight. 10-9 Li

Preliminary Card

Teruto Ishihara vs. Petr Yan

Round 1 – Ishihara opens up with a leg kick as Yan walks him down towards the fence. Ishihara continues to keep distance through leg kicks. Ishihara shoots for a takedown, but Yan gets back up. Yan lands a big right hand and continues to pressure forward. Ishihara moves forward, but was dropped by a left hand. Ishihara stands back up, but was once again dropped by a right hand. The referee stops the fight.

Petr Yan defeats Teruto Ishihara via TKO 3:28 of Round 1

Felipe Arantes vs. Song Yadong

Round 1 – Song more aggressive with his punches, landing combinations at will. Arantes unfazed, as he continues to move forward to pressure. Song lands a spin hook kick. Arantes lands a hard jab. Arantes falls to his back, but Song capitalizes and begins the ground fight. Arantes gets half guard, but Song lands elbows and punches. Arantes establishes closed guard. Song lands elbows from guard, but Arantes pull him down and gets head control. 10-9 Song

Round 2 – Song immediately rushes in with a high kick, but Arantes responds with a hard shot of his own. The action is brought back to the mat, with Song inside Arantes’ closed guard once again. Song, however, lands hard elbows as Arantes covers up. Song passes the guard, gets back mount, and ends in side control. Arantes turtles up as Song lands elbows to the body. Song passes and attempts an arm triangle, but Arantes defends. Song continues to attack from side control, but Arantes gets back up. Arantes shoots for a takedown, but Song defends, gets an underhook, and reverses position, pushing Arantes onto the fence. Song lands an elbow with less than ten seconds left in the round as Arantes drops. The referee stops the action after Song lands two more hard punches.

Song Yadong defeats Felipe Arantes via knockout, 4:59 of Round 2

Rolando Dy vs. Shane Young

Round 1 – Dy more comfortable on the feet, but Young pushes the action to the fence via a deep clinch. Dy gets back and brings the action back to the center and engages in a boxing match. Young lands a combo of his own, and a clean straight right afterward. Dy responds with a combination and lands a hard elbow while in the clinch. Young clinches and scores a takedown, after both men exchange hard punches. Dy gets back up, but continues to back pedal towards the fence. Young landing clean strikes, but Dy landing body-head combinations. 10-9 Young

Round 2 – Dy starts off with a two-punch combination that lands. Young shoots for a takedown but Dy defends it. Dy lands an elbow off the clinch and follows up with a left hook. Young cuts off the cage pushes the action towards the fence, and lands hard punches. Dy is bloodied up and left more tentative. Young continues to cut off the cage, but Dy is able to bring the action back to the center. Young tries to shoot another takedown off a combo, but is unsuccessful. Dy lands a hard left hook as Young continues to move forward. Dy is looking fatigued and Young takes advantage. Young wobbles Dy with an elbow follows up with a combination, and eventually scores a knockdown. The referee stops the action as Dy lands to the mat.

Shane Young defeats Rolando Dy via TKO, 4:40 of Round 2

Song Kenan vs. Hector Aldana

Round 1 – Aldana starts off with a hard inside leg kick to Song’s lead leg. Aldana surges forward with a four-punch combination as Song backs up. Aldana continues to commit with his punches. Song throws a spinning hook kick. Aldana is bleeding from the right eye, but continues to land hard shots. Aldana catches a kick and scores a takedown, but Song gets back up immediately. Aldana catches another kick and once again turns it into a single-leg takedown, but Song gets back up as well. 10-9 Aldana

Round 2 – Aldana once again opens up with a hard leg kick. Song lands a hard body kick, and follows it up with another shortly after. Song connects with a high kick, which penetrates the guard. Aldana continues to throw hard leg kicks, mixing it up with inside and outside. Song lands a combination of his own, but Aldana lands another hard low kick. Song lands an overhand right that drops Aldana, and follows up with hammerfists. The referee stops the action.

Song Kenan defeats Hector Aldana via TKO, 4:45 of Round 2

Shinsho Anzai vs. Jake Matthews

Round 1 – Both men immediately engage and scramble towards the fence. Anzai pushes Matthews towards the fence, but Matthews is able to land hard knees. Matthews establishes clinch and scores a takedown. After a few scrambles and landed elbows, Matthews establishes back control, locks his left arm under Anzai’s chin and squeezes. Anzai taps.

Yan Xiaonan vs. Viviane Pereira

Round 1 – Yan opens up with a high kick. Pereira remains tentative. Yan continues to land her combinations, mixing up kicks and punch combinations. Pereira finds her range in boxing and lands a three-punch combination. Yan switches to more boxing attacks and is throwing lesser kicks. Both women trade strikes towards the end of the round. 10-9 Yan

Round 2 – Yan lands a hard inside leg kick, and follows up with two more after. Pereira remains tentative as she absorbs all of Yan’s constant leg kicks. Yan mixes up her attacks with hard jabs. Pereira lands from boxing range, landing three-punch combinations. Yan continues to punish Pereira’s lead leg with hard kicks. Both women end the round the same way as the first. 10-9 Yan

Round 3 – Yan continues to keep the fight in kicking range. Pereira begins to move forward, but is unable to connect with her punches. Yan throwing lesser kicks this round. Yan throws a lead leg hook kick, but misses. Pereira able to control the range better. Round ends with both women exchanging hard punches. 10-9 Pereira

Matt Schnell vs. Naoki Inoue

Round 1 – Inoue lands a hard leg kick, but Schnell opens up with punches. Schnell feints a takedown, but lands a hard left. Schnell lands another hard punch, and is getting more comfortable with his distance. Schnell lands another hard combination. 10-9 Schnell

Round 2 – Inoue finally gets more comfortable with striking. Schnell lands a hard two-punch combination. Both men keeping the action on the feet. Inoue lands a crips jab. Schnell lands a left hook. Inoue having more success with his stiff jabs, but Schnell lands hard leg kicks as well. Schnell lands a hard teep off a feint. 10-9 Inoue

Round 3 – Schnell has a small cut by his right eye. Inoue still landing crips jabs. Schnell shoots for a single-leg, but Inoue reverses and attempts a single-leg takedown of his own. Inoue clinches pushes Schnell towards the fence. Schnell gets out and brings the action back to the center. Schnell lands another leg kick to Inoue’s lead leg. Schnell lands a hard jab of his own, and continues to punish Inoue’s lead leg. Both men land hard right hands. Inoue lands a two-punch combo. Schnell lands a combo of his own. Inoue lands a left hook, and follows it up with a right high kick. 10-9 Inoue

Matt Schnell defeats Naoki Inoue via split decision (29-28 28-29 29-28)

Jenel Lausa vs. Ulka Sasaki

Round 1 – Sasaki immediately shoots for a low single-leg takedown. Lausa is unable to defend, but remains calm. Lausa tries to establish guard, but Sasaki moves around it with ease. Sasaki also calm with his pass attempts, throwing no strikes while transitioning. Lausa unable to get back on his feet as Sasaki continues to barrage forward and pass. Lausa gets back on his feet and attempts a guillotine. Lausa lands elbows, but gets taken down again. Sasaki almost establishes back control, but Lausa recovers half guard. Lausa gets back to his feet, but Sasaki immediately pushes the action to the fence. Both men scramble the center of the cage. Sasaki passes to mount, Lausa scrambles out. Sasaki ends the round with an unorthodox armbar attempt. 10-9 Sasaki.

Round 2 – Lausa manages to keep the action within striking range and lands a hard inside low kick. Sasaki shoots for a takedown, but Lausa stuffs it. Sasaki lands a left high kick through Lausa’s guard. Sasaki shoots and Lausa sprawls, but Sasaki reverses position. Sasaki passes to side control as Lausa the left arm with his legs. Sasaki passes back to side mount then to full mount and lands punches. Sasaki rolls over, gets back control slides his left arm under Lausa’s chin, and tightens. Lausa taps.

Ulka Sasaki defeats Jenel Lausa via submission (rear-naked choke) 4:04 of round 2

Melinda Fabian vs. Ji Yeon Kim

Round 1 – Both women keep the fight on the feet, but it is Kim who is landing more crisp combinations. Fabian mixes up her strikes, while Kim sticks to pure boxing. Kim mixes up strikes as well, landing leg a leg kick, followed by a two-punch combo. Fabian lands her counters, but eats a left hand as well. Kim lands a big right that lands hard and snaps Fabian’s head back. Both women clinch, with Kim’s back against the fence. 10-9 Kim.

Round 2 – Both women begin tentative. Kim begins with aggressive combos, which were halted by Fabian by clinching. Fabian pushes Kim towards the fence, but Kim gets out of the clinch. Kim not rushing her combos as the action goes back to the center of the cage. Fabian lands a clean straight right. Kim lands a hard left hand. Fabian keeps distance by throwing teep kicks. Kim continues to land her left hands. Kim continues to press forward and throwing hands. Kim lands another right hand as the ten-second clapper sounds. Fabian takes Kim down, but Kim immediately reverses position. 10-9 Kim.

Round 3 – Fabian’s left eye is starting to swell. Kim continues to land clean punches and counters. Kim lands a hard right. Fabian constantly on the defense, being pushed back towards the fence. Kim lands a leg kick. Both women clinch, with Kim once again being pushed towards the fence. Fabian lands some knee strikes. Fabian continues to push Kim towards the fence, getting wrist control. Kim gets out of the fence, but Fabian reverses and pushes the action back tot he fence. 10-9 Fabian.

Ji Yeon Kim defeats Melinda Fabian via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
