UFC 223 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the third episode for this weekend’s big show in Brooklyn, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the newly-designed card.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk runs on a treadmill next to fellow UFC 223 fighter Michael Chiesa, while discussing her weight cut. Khabib Nurmagomedov goes back to Renzo Gracie’s academy to get a workout in. He talks about not taking Max Holloway lightly.
Holloway greets Megan Olivi in the hotel, and discusses his game plan in a phone interview. Chiesa says his dad and grandmother were born in Brooklyn so he’s stoked to fight there.
Khabib, Joanna, and Chiesa get fitted for gloves and get their Reebok gear. Rose Nanajunas arrives in New York. Pat Barry says it’s colder in NYC than Denver. She goes to the hotel and gets her Reebok gear as well.
Anthony Pettis says he got through camp with no injuries, which hasn’t happened in a while. He’s not a fan of Chiesa’s chirping on social media, but being nice to his face.
UFC 223 goes down this Saturday night in Brooklyn.
