Heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua may have a world title bout lined up against Joseph Parker at the end of March, but that hasn’t stopped him from discussing his future plans of potentially fighting in the UFC.

It’s not the first time Joshua’s name has popped up in the MMA world. Last year, current UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic was campaigning for a fight with Joshua. The 28-year-old’s response to Miocic was nothing more than the infamous “Who the fooook is that guy” line.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ Toe 2 Toe podcast, “AJ” discussed a potential move over to MMA, specifically targeting fights with Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones.

“I feel like a good scrap would be, I think the guy from Congo [referring to Ngannou, who is actually from Cameroon], I think he just lost recently. Big unit, that’d be a good scrap. Then you’ve got Jon Jones, that’d be a good scrap.

”Yeah. I’d have to obviously have a couple of warm-up fights because you have to learn the submissions and stuff. But a fight’s a fight at the end of the day. Yeah man, I’d do it.” (Transcription by Sport Bible)

Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) faces the New Zealander Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) on March 31st at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. The WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight belts will all be on the line.
