In mid-October, multiple-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion Garry Tonon signed an exclusive deal with ONE Championship to begin his MMA run. On Tuesday, the date and venue for his debut fight were made final.

Per MMA Fighting’s report, one of the touted members of the Danaher Death Squad from the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York City will be taking on his first MMA fight at ONE: Iron Will on March 24th. He is slated to face Filipino fighter Richard Corminal at 155 pounds for the event’s co-headliner.

Corminal (4-3, all wins by stoppage), is currently on a two-fight skid, after being finished by both Shannon Wiratchai and Arnaud Lepont respectively.

Tonon, on the other hand, already stepped inside the ONE Championship cage when he faced Shinya Aoki in a special grappling match held at ONE: Dynasty of Heroes in May 2017 in Singapore. He won via heel hook in under eight minutes of action.

ONE: Iron Will is set to take place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. It will be headlined by a featherweight title fight between Bibiano Fernandes and Martin Nguyen.
