The Bellator heavyweight Grand Prix quarterfinals continue on Friday, February 16th, as former UFC fighters Matt Mitrione and Roy Nelson headline Bellator 194 in Uncasville, Connecticut. Just over five years ago, Nelson knocked out Mitrione in The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale. Now these two will meet again for the right to compete in the semifinals against either Ryan Bader or Muhammed Lawal.
In the co-main event, lightweight contenders Patricky Pitbull and Derek Campos square off in a rematch of their 2014 fight, which saw Pitbull get the second-round TKO. Also on the main card is former light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary against Vadim Nemkov, women’s flyweights Heather Hardy and Ana Julaton in the first of their two-fight, multi-sport deal, and Tywan Claxton (of flying knee KO fame) fights Jose Antonio Perez.
