Cyborg: Rousey will be happy in the WWE, where wins and losses are decided before shows

On Sunday night, Ronda Rousey’s transition into a new career path was made official. The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion signed a full-time contract with the WWE , putting an end to speculations about what her next move outside of fighting would be.

It did not take long for her former rival Cris Cyborg to get hold of this piece of information. According to the current UFC women’s 145-pound champion, it could be a decision that would suit Rousey well.

“I believe that she will be happy in WWE, and it’s completely different from the reality of MMA. For an example, wins and losses are decided before the shows,” Cyborg said in an interview with MMA Fighting.

As for what’s left of her fighting career, Rousey continues to avoid dealing with her last two losses against Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, respectively. Cyborg sees nothing wrong with it, but offered a possible solution.

“I think it’s normal. In reality, we can only talk about things that we already overcame in our minds,” Cyborg said. “She hasn’t overcome her MMA losses yet, even in another stage of her career. Sometimes people need professional help to get over it.”

Cyborg says she already agreed to face Amanda Nunes in a super fight at UFC 226 on July 7th in Las Vegas.
