Paige VanZant appears to be in the midst of a whirlwind romance. The former Team Alpha Male fighter posted a picture back in December of 2017 that she was excited to spend her first Christmas with her boyfriend Austin Vanderford. A month later, and VanZant broke the news that she’d gotten engaged.
“I said yes!! ” VanZant wrote on the social media platform.
Vanderford is a member of VanZant’s new Gracie Barra Portland training camp. He was a two-time NAIA All American Wrestler for Southern Oregon University. Currently, “AK 47” is 4-0 in his young welterweight MMA career, having made his debut in early 2017.
“12 Gauge” Paige VanZant has hit a bit of a skid in her UFC career lately – having dropped her last two fights, to Michelle Waterson and Jessica-Rose Clark. She suffered a broken arm in her most recent loss, which is expected to keep her sidelined for the immediate future. In the meantime, she’s preparing to release her autobiography in April.
