First of the three title bouts at UFC 217 was the strawweight title bout between Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs Rose Namajunas. It was an insane upset and a great story, as Namajunas managed to knock down and finish the incredibly dominant champion, who was looking to break Ronda Rousey’s record.

Round 1 – Super intense staredown. Jedrzejczyk taking her time off the start. Namajunas with a leg kick. Nice left from Rose. Joanna with a combo ended with a head kick. Namajunas dropped Joanna with a left! Jedrzejczyk is back up though. That was intense. They set back up. Rose lands a right this time. Joanna walked it off. Another left dropped Jedrzejczyk again! Namajunas is all over her on the ground and Joanna tapped to strikes! IT IS OVER! NEW CHAMP! WOOOOOW!
