In March, Floyd Mayweather Jr. officially came out of retirement for the second time to compete against Conor McGregor in a boxing match. On August 26th, right after winning the fight via tenth round TKO, he once again reiterated that it would be his last fight, and no longer intends to return after making 50-0 a reality.
But just a week ago, Mayweather randomly released a video of him working out in his gym.

While it could mean a lot of other things and not necessarily point to a return, HBO Boxing analyst Jim Lampley does believe that Floyd Jr. is not yet done with his career.
“Why should he retire?” Lampley told TMZ Sports. “He created a marvelous scam with this whole thing. He allowed Conor to quote ‘win’ three rounds, so the whole global MMA wish community could have something to latch onto. I think there’s a decent chance, there are enough suckers out there, Floyd could maybe make another $150 million. Why not?”
“Why else is he putting out videos of him working out? He allowed Conor McGregor to ‘win’ three rounds. Why did the whole thing last 10 rounds, etc.? It’s all a setup.”
Lampley was then asked if he believes Mayweather would be willing to risk his undefeated record in a McGregor rematch, and if he would put some money down on Floyd making a return.
“Risk? Risk? Did you just associate the word risk with Floyd Mayweather?” Lampley asked. “This is not about risk, young man. Risk has nothing to do with it. There’s no risk involved for him.”
“So we’re betting on the question, does Floyd want to make another $150 million? Why would that even be a bet?”
