For those who are up bright and early, today’s combat sports experience kicks off with an early morning card live from China. Glory 46 airs today, starting on Fight Pass at 6:00 a.m. ET, then moving over to ESPN3 at 9:00 a.m. ET. Glory and the UFC are also making the Superfight Series available free on YouTube. The biggest fight of the event is on the Superfight Series portion of the card on Fight Pass. There, we’ll see dominant Glory Heavyweight champion Rico Verhoeven in a non-title fight against Antonio Silva. Bigfoot makes his pro kickboxing debut here, and looks to pick up just his second win in combat sports since 2013.
The Glory 46 main event is a world title fight, as the excellent Simon Marcus defends his Middleweight belt against heavy-handed Brazilian Alex Pereira. The rest of the card mostly highlights fighters from China. One possible stand-out is the inclusion of a pro sanda fight on the Fight Pass card, which should be interesting.
