Join us tonight on Bloody Elbow for live results, discussion, round scoring and play-by-play for UFC 215: Nunes vs. Shevchenko 2, live from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The UFC 215 main card will air live on Pay-Per-View at 10:00 P.M. ET with the prelims starting at 8:00 P.M. ET on FS1. The Exclusive Fight Pass prelims will begin at 7:00 P.M. ET.

This post will cover the UFC 215 PPV main card, starting with Jeremy Stephens vs. Gilbert Melendez, and finishing up with the UFC bantamweight champion, Amanda Nunes, in a high stakes rematch with the #1 contender, Valentina Shevchenko. Amanda Nunes vs. Valentina Shevchenko: Bantamweight Title

Rd.1- Shevchenko comes out attacking the lead leg of her opponent, as Nunes looks to find her ranging, probing with the jab. The bantamweights exchange kicks, and Shevchenko lands a left hand. Nunes lands a leg kick, as Shevchenko steps in for a jab. Nunes misses with a head kick, followed by a leaping left hook. Nunes attacks the lead leg of Shevchenko, both to the inside and outside. Nunes scores with a body kick as Shevchenko appears to be waiting. Nunes backs her foe up to the cage, attacking the lead leg in the process. Shevchenko misses with a head kick, but connects with a jab. Shevchenko catches a body kick, but eats a heavy punch for her troubles. Nunes throws Shevchenko to the ground as the round comes to a close. 10-9 Nunes

Rd.2- Shevchenko cracks with a southpaw left hand, but Nunes pushes her back with a pumping jab. Nunes lands with the body kick, and launches a cross behind it. Superman punch misses for Shevchenko, and again with a right hand behind it. Shevchenko goes back to the superman punch, but eats a leg kick moving forward. Shevchenko is the busier fighter, throwing, even if not connecting, as Nunes is spectating. Shevchenko misses with a spinning heel kick, and Nunes steps in with a 1-2. 10-9 Shevchenko

Rd.3- Nunes presses forward behind oblique kicks, but Shevchenko responds with a flurry. A superman punch misses for Shevchenko, but she throws a leg kick behind it. Nunes lands a stiff cross in the middle of a Shevchenko flurry, and follows up with a solid jab. Nunes scores with a leg kick, and Shevchenko misses with a hook cross combo. Nunes lands a spinning elbow, but Shevchenko eats it incredibly well. Nunes scores with a body kick, and then misses high. A jab lands for Nunes, and then she slides out of the way of Shevchenko’s counter left hand. A leaping left hook lands to the head of Nunes. The referee warns Nunes about extending her fingers. Shevchenko lands a stinging left hand, and Nunes shows her a smile. 10-9 Nunes

Rd.4- Nunes presses forward once again, landing front kicks. Nunes is probing her jab, but eats a mean hook cross combo. Nunes returns to the oblique kick, and then the bantamweights exchange leg kicks. A strong counter left cross snaps Nunes’ head back, and then another left lands. Shevchenko attacks the inside of her opponents leg, and then comes back with heavy punches. Nunes misses with a jab cross, and eats another counter punch. The superman punch finally lands for Shevchenko, but Nunes takes it like a champ. Shevchenko attacks the inside and then the outside of Nunes’ lead leg. 10-9 Shevchenko

Rd.5- Nunes lands a 1-2, and Shevchenko is right there to land a combo of her own. Shevchenko attacks both sides of Nunes’ leg once again. Nunes lands an oblique kick, as Shevchenko lands the left cross. Nunes closes the distance and shoves Shevchenko up against the cage. Nunes drops down for the double leg, but Shevchenko defends well and finds open space. Shevchenko goes for a head and arm throw, but Nunes slips out, and takes the back. Shevchenko goes 2 on 1, and works her way to her feet, but gets taken down once again with a minute left on the clock. Shevchenko lands some strikes from her back, but Nunes is unfazed, and finishes the final round on top. 10-9 Nunes

Neil Magny vs. Rafael dos Anjos: Welterweight

Rd.1- Magny presses forward, but gets dropped with a heavy leg kick. RDA works from half guard, attacking a Guillotine and a D’arce. RDA tees of with some elbows, looking to soften up his opponent. RDA transitions into side control, and then hops into full mount. RDA locks up a tight Arm Triangle, behind some ground strikes, and Magny has no choice but to tap out.

Henry Cejudo vs. Wilson Reis: Flyweight

Rd.1- Cejudo opens in a bit of a Karate stance, and lands with a stiff cross. Cejudo follows up with a cross to the body that echoed rather loudly. Cejudo lands with another clean cross, and then again to the body. A hard uppercut followed by a 3 piece scores for Cejudo. Reis lands a solid right hook, but eats a few punches for his trouble. Cejudo fakes the right hand, and misses with a flurry. Reis shoots in but Cejudo takes the back, and lands some punches. Cejudo allows Reis to his feet, and cracks with an overhand right. Reis shoots a single leg, but Cejudo defends well. Cejudo lands a head kick and follows up with a right left. Cejudo is all over Reis, and scores a late takedown to put an exclamation on the round. 10-8 Cejudo

Rd.2- Reis opens with a head kick, and follows up with the right hook. Cejudo plants his foot and drops Reis with a laser of a right cross, follows up with some brief ground and pound, and the referee steps in.

Ilir Latifi vs. Tyson Pedro: Light Heavyweight

Rd.1- Pedro opens with a teep to the belly of Latifi. A monstrous leg kick whiffs for Pedro, but Latifi doesn’t make him pay. The big men lock up, and both land on the break. Latifi shoots in on a single leg, stays with it, and gets the takedown. Latifi finds North South control, but Pedro scrambles out, and up to his feet. Latifi lands a hard right hand, but Pedro responds with a thudding body kick. Pedro faked low, and went high with the kick, but Latifi caught said kick, and achieved a takedown. From side control, Latifi worked a North South Choke, but Pedro exploded back to his feet once again. Latifi stuffs his foe against the fence, eats a few Travis Brownes, followed by Pedro spinning out. Pedro misses by a mile with a head kick as the round ends. 10-9 Latifi

Rd.2- Pedro misses with a leg kick to start the second stanza, and then scores with an oblique kick. Pedro scores with a sneaky kick to the body, and Latifi responds with a thick leg kick. Latifi lands a jab, but eats an uppercut right after. Pedro goes high once again, but Latifi moves just out of the way. Latifi bull rushes in on his opponent, pushes him against the cage, picks up Pedro, and dumps him on his head. Latifi lands with some short, but heavy, left hands. Pedro scrambles back to his feet, and drops some more Travis Brownes, as his back is to the cage. Latifi continues to lean on Pedro, landing short shots as time expires. 10-9 Latifi

Rd.3- Pedro lands a low leg kick, and Latifi responds with a straight right hand. Latifi lands a stiff jab, and then misses with right bolo. Latifi lands a cross to the gut of Pedro, but Pedro lands a heavy leg kick. Latifi lands a clean counter right hand, and follows up with 2 more clean punches. Pedro kicks at the body, but Latifi cracks with another straight right. Latifi stuffs Pedro against the cage once again, and scores another takedown. Latifi lands some solid ground strikes as he looks to pass the guard, and opens up a cut around the left eye of Pedro. The fight ends with Latifi in top control. 10-9 Latifi

Gilbert Melendez vs. Jeremy Stephens: Featherweight

Rd.1- Stephens presses forward with a leg kick, and Melendez retorts with a cross down the middle. Stephens throws a heavy jab cross, but eats a leg kick for his trouble. Stephens returns the favor and lands a hard leg kick, and another one, as Melendez looks to work the jab. Melendez lands a solid leg kick of his own, and presses forward behind a right hook. A stiff jab lands for Melendez, followed by a flush right hand. A major knot is on the left shin of Melendez, forcing him to drop down. Melendez grits it out and marches forward through the injury. Stephens lands a clean body punch, and then whiffs on a big spinning back fist. Melendez is kicked again in the same spot, and drops down to the mat. Stephens follows Melendez to the ground and lands a bolo as the round ends. 10-9 Stephens

Rd.2- The referee calls time before it begins to have the doctor check the leg of Melendez. The round begins and Melendez lands a clean jab, followed by a right hand. Stephens returns to the leg kick, forcing Melendez to switch stances. Stephens throws a clean right uppercut left hook combo. Stephens returns to attacking the base of his opponent. Melendez lands a series of jabs as he walks down Stephens. Melendez pushes forward, switching stances, but Stephens lands on the leg again, dropping Melendez again. Stephens lands a jab cross head kick combo, and Melendez absorbs them all well. Melendez presses forward, forcing his foe to work, but eats a solid cross and hook in the process. Stephens lands a big overhand right, then switches up speed and throws a softer 3 piece. Stephens lands an uppercut and drops Melendez with a leg kick, again. 10-9 Stephens

Rd.3- Stephens lands a hefty body hook to open the final round, followed by a right cross left hook combo. Stephens lands a body kick at the end of a combo, and scores with uppercuts and hooks. Stephens lands a solid leg kick to the right leg of Melendez. A lead uppercut and a few jabs land for Stephens, as he presses forward on the southpaw standing Melendez. A jab lands for Melendez, but Stephens answers with a right hand. Melendez drops again from a leg kick, but returns to his feet, earning the respect of Stephens in the process. A heavy right hand lands behind a jab for Stephens. Melendez lands with a knee as Stephens is found on the inside. Stephens rips a few body shots, and then goes high with the head kick. Melendez is down again from a leg kick, but Stephens follows him to the ground this time. Melendez makes it to the final bell, but Stephens is in top form. 10-9 Melendez
