The UFC Rotterdam co-main event witnessed Siyar Bahadurzada pick up a second round TKO over UFC newcomer Rob Wilkinson. Wilkinson was able to hold his own in the opening round, but come the second frame, Bahadurzada unleashed his big time power, rocking his opponent, and not giving him a chance to recover. The referee gave Wilkinson ample time to get back into the fight, but the onslaught from Bahadurzada proved to be too much.
Check out Tim Burke’s play-by-play of Bahadurzada’s 2nd round TKO of Wilkinson:
Round 2 – They both miss with big punches. Front kick from Wilkinson. Jab too. Siyar with a right hook. Nice two-punch combo from Wilkinson. Another right from Bahadurzada. Wilkinson went back to the jab. Left straight at an odd angle stuns Wilkinson. Lead uppercut drops Wilkinson! He’s all over him! Wilkinson got up but got dropped again! Siyar keeps up the pressure and gets the stoppage.
Siyar Bahadurzada defeated Rob Wilkinson by TKO (strikes), 3:10 of round 2
