As UFC president Dana White is fond of saying, it’s fight week. But this won’t be taking place in the Octagon. The promotion’s biggest star Conor McGregor is taking his talents to the boxing ring for the first time, and he’s getting the best P4P boxer in the world as his opponent – the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The event goes down on August 26th in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. McGregor and Mayweather will meet in a 12-round, 154-pound matchup using eight-ounce gloves. The rest of the card features some Money Team prospects and one very legitimate fight – Nathan Cleverly vs. Badou Jack.
